Tour highlights
- Opera House
One of the most famous opera houses and opera companies, in the world. Work on the building began in 1861 and was completed in 1869, following plans drawn up by architects August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll. It was built in the Neo-Renaissance style and was the first opera house built in Vienna. - The Ring
The Ringstraße (or Ringstrasse) is a circular road surrounding the Innere Stadt district and is one of its highlights. It was built to replace the city walls from the 13th century and is built in a typical historical style of the 1860s to the 1890s. - Hofburg Imperial Palace
This famous palace housed some of the most powerful people in the country’s history, notably the Habsburg dynasty who ruled the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Palace was the birthplace of Marie Antoinette (Queen of France) in 1755. Today it serves as the official residence of the President of Austria. - Rathaus
The City Hall of Vienna. The Rathaus, German for (add a space here) “Council House,” serves as the seat of both the city council and the mayor of Vienna. It was designed in the Gothic style by Friedrich von Schmidt between 1872 and 1883. - • St. Stephen’s Cathedral
The most important religious building in Austria’s capital, the cathedral was built in response to many important events in the nation’s history and has become one of the city’s most identifiable symbols. It stands on the ruins of two earlier churches and was built in the Romanesque and Gothic style.

Please note
All Segway Tours Vienna begin with a short training. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 years and older. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.
